2017 Western North Carolina Plein-Air Workshop Retreat
The Art Loft is pleased to host a Western North Carolina Plein-Air Workshop Retreat with renowned artist Cindy Baron at the Historic Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis, North Carolina.
The Historic Mast Farm Inn in Valle Crucis North Carolina is set in a 19th Century charming country style farmhouse on the edge of the Pisgah National Forest. The farm is only 6.5 miles from Grandfather Mountain State Park and has been recognized many times as an award winning historic hotel. The Mast Farm Inn enjoys the status as a boutique hotel and is also on the select registry as a Country Inn. As a specialty, the inn is also well known for its gourmet farm to table fine dining.

The workshop will consist of 5 nights at the Mast Farm Inn and 4 days of teaching and will be an outdoor plein-air workshop (weather permitting). The surrounding at the Inn itself is a plein-air painters dream with the historic farmhouse, a unique old barn, and all the original cabins, pathways and gardens. The dates for this amazing workshop will be checking in on Sunday, September 10th, 2017 and checking out Friday, September 15th, 2017. Class days will be from Monday-Thursday with pleasantries in the evenings at the farm and local establishments. The Historic Mast Farm Inn has a one of a kind dining experience with gourmet, farm to table, fine dining so if you are interested in enjoying the fine food fare during the retreat Anita will be contacting you after registration with information on how to participate as this requires advanced notice.
